A tube with a camera was pushed through an incision in your skin. The camera sent pictures of your abdominal wall to a screen.
During the operation the contents of the hernia were replaced in your stomach and the weakness in your abdominal wall was closed. A mesh was also inserted into your abdominal wall in order to strengthen the weakness there.
