There has been a bleed in your head between the skull bone and the dura mater.
The brain is surrounded by a protective shell of bone, known as the skull or cranium.On the outside of the brain and spinal cord there are three thin meninges (linings). A tough meninx, the dura mater, is on the outside. Below that are two soft meninges.
Bleeding inside the head can damage brain tissue. You may have various symptoms as a result. This may cause one to have headaches or lose consciousness, for example.
